Our History

Nutra-Science Canada Inc. is the new retail partner of The Nutraceutical Alliance that was founded in 1999 to support the advancement of nutraceutical supplements by providing professional services to companies currently in or expanding into this industry. The Nutraceutical Alliance provides tailored solutions that support nutraceutical product from the initial concept through to delivery, including product development, thorough research, function and safety testing, and training and education.

Nutra-Science Canada Inc. is now providing for sale the best supplements it has designed for people and companion animals. We are also offering for sale unique and innovative supplements and medical devices from partner companies in Canada, Europe and the United States. These products are also based on evidence-based science.

The CEO, Dr. Michael Lindinger, Ph.D., has an extensive background that spans nutraceutical supplement design, research and regulatory approvals. This background is built on 4 decades of research on the physiology of muscles, the gastrointestinal system, nutrition, nutraceuticals, joint disease, and exercise. Over his illustrious career, his research has encompassed numerous species, ranging from marine mussels to humans.

Dr. Michael Lindinger, Ph.D.

Dr. Michael Lindinger oversees all company operations. With a wealth of expertise as a nutraceutical supplements design and regulatory specialist, Dr. Lindinger holds BSc and MSc degrees in comparative animal physiology and a Ph.D. in medical sciences.

A member of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce and with 25 years of experience as a professor in the Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, Dr. Lindinger brings a wealth of scientific knowledge to Nutra-Science Canada Inc..

Dr. Lindinger continues to be active in research that spans human and animal physiology, nutrition and nutraceuticals. He is an author of over 190 peer-reviewed scientific publications, serves on the editorial board of several physiology journals and as Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Applied Physiology.

Dr. Lindinger’s focus over the past decade has centred on developing and utilizing nutraceutical ingredients and supplements for human and companion animal health. Notably, his research teams have contributed evidence-based research to numerous nutraceutical supplements on the market.
